House & Dog
This little and very personal installation is the direct result of a conversation I had with Georg Elben a month ago (Juli 2008). We were discussing the MediaWays exhibition, as he is writing a text for the catalogue and he commented that I have not painted much lately, which he found was a shame.
In a way he is right, it IS a shame but I have been very absorbed into my photography work lately …
After our conversation I sat down and came up with this little project to document some of the many changes that my life went through in the last 2 years. It is a very personal installation. Almost a portrait … and painting is … involved … somehow … too.
And no … the picture above is just a snapshot of my dog. Not the installation.
