Day after day, nearly all the TV channels sent the same handful of images over and over of the stricken Kursk submarine. Every 30 minutes or less the world was confronted with the tragedy over the screen, with or without news, via replay.

Collected in this book are a group of the images that were shown during half an hour of august 20th and 21st 2000. Some of them look the same but were sent by different stations or on different days.
